P90x diet plan, eat food you like but take care of calories

To keep your body fit, you have to do proper workout and to tell you how to do proper workout, there is a fitness program for you, created by one of the best fitness advisors, Tony Horton. This fitness program is P90x program. Now as we know, only exercises and workout are not sufficient in getting a good body, but there is another thing which is equally important and that is following a proper diet plan. And P90x program provides you not just a fitness plan but also a nutrition plan, which consists of tips and methods to formulate a good diet.

P90x nutrition plan has three phases, in first phase carbohydrate in eliminated from diet and high protein intake to build muscles and burn fat. In second phase, two complex carbohydrates are added in the diet which will help you work harder in the intense workouts. Hence, consumption of carbohydrates in form of wheat bread, oatmeal and a fruit daily should be done. Protein intake should be high which helps in muscle recovery. In third phase, carbohydrates are increased further to give body stamina necessary. In all the phases, eating frequent small meals and drinking lots of water is advised.

In all the phases, dieters are provide with options to choose that suits them best, meal plan and portion plan. Meal plan consists of sample menus with recipes and portion plan will give the number of serves of each food type, allowed to take.

Throughout the program, eating lean meat, eggs, low fat milk and cheese, peanut butter, fresh fruits, flax seeds and vegetables, dried fruits, pasta and wholegrain bread, soy nuts, salsa, protein bars, mustard and fat free are recommended. With this diet plan, weights lose and healthy lifestyle can be easily achieved.
